I'm delighted to have been asked to give a presentation at the Unitron Global Conference towards the end of September in Vienna, Austria.

The subject of my talk will be the wonderful new flex:trial system and it's impact upon my practice and patient acceptance.

Flex:trial for those of you who haven't experienced or read about it, is simply a system that lets the customer have a FREE TRIAL period of whatever technology level he/she chooses. So intead of taking my word for it, the customer can hear the benefits before committing to getting fitted with hearing aids. It's a "win win" for all concerned.  A terrific system indeed and it certainly has helped my customers decided on the right hearing aid for them

North West Garden Show

Padraig MacGinty has been elected on to the council of I.S.H.A.A. The Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.

I.S.H.A.A. is the governing body overseeing standards in practice within the hearing testing and hearing aid sector.

"It is a great privelege to firstly be nominated and then selected to go forward on to council and I hope with all of my years experience within the industry, that I can give considerable input into the various projects going forward", says Padraig.

It has finally arrived and yes Padraig received his inivitation to the big event in London. The Launch venue was London's magnificent "Gherkin" building, otherwise known as the big glass, egg-shaped skyscraper in the heart of London.

So all suited and booted he attended the launch on the top floor. It was like a "who's who" of people from the hearing aid industry.
